Situated in the Heart of the North Wessex Downs we are ideally located for businesses needing meeting space for conferences in Berkshire, close to Wiltshire, Hampshire and South Oxfordshire, we are 15 minutes from J14 of the M4 and give the option of doing business in lovely surroundings, offering a creative workspace in which to motivate and inspire your collegues and staff to get the very best from your team!


We have two different working environments:

The Bear Island Boardroom situated in the Bear Island House, is a quiet purpose-built executive boardroom. The room measures 4.8mx 4.95m and seats 12 people. It is ideal if you need a small meeting or interview space, an AGM or somewhere to meet clients that is relaxed and professional.

The Riverside Suite is an attractive, self-contained suite with private entrance, wheelchair access, conservatory, private bar and riverside patio. It can accommodate 60-80 guests. Suitable for conferences and training sessions but also private events, such as book signings, small exhibitions as well as the fun side of business with Christmas Parties or Team Building.

Both of our rooms have natural daylight and ground floor access, Screens and Flip charts are as standard

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel with a secure network available in the Riverside Suite.
