We are based within the charming market town of Hungerford in the heart of The North Wessex Downs, which is an  Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and only 15 minutes from the M4.

The Main House offers delightful accommodation full of character which gives a real sense of The Bear's history, with it's sloping floors and rooms named after historic figures who have stayed here.

The Courtyard Rooms overlook the River Dunn and our lovely courtyard and were originally the old stables.

Bear Island rooms are adjacent to our own little island and again overlook the water. Some of these have balconies perfect for summer evenings. These rooms are quiet and peaceful letting you escape from the bustle of the town.

All our rooms are equipped with Sky TV and Free Wifi. There are hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, and mineral water in all rooms as standard.
